My area of expertise is the conversion of photographs into ‘works of art’ (known as photo-painting or photo art), which are then printed onto canvas.

I offer you the opportunity to customise your artwork to your taste and requirements.  This is not just a simple photo-to-canvas product that you can buy anywhere on the High Street. On the contrary, each piece of artwork is unique and you will not find a duplicate anywhere.

Converting Your Photos
If you wish, I can produce a straightforward enlargement of your photo, which might include cropping, removal of red-eye or scratches, colour changes, or in some cases composition changes.

Alternatively, I can convert your photo into a unique and creative piece of artwork using special digital or artistic effects.

Once you have selected your image, you can then choose the size, and I will print it onto a gallery-quality canvas.

Each photo-painting will be printed with pigment ink on gallery-quality canvas and will be covered with a protective coating to give it a no-fade life expectancy of more than 70 years – see FAQ section for more information.

You will get a high-quality product at a reasonable price, with printed canvases ranging from £50-100 depending on size, special effects and degree of customisation.  The delivery charge by courier is at cost, which for the UK Mainland is currently £12.

All photo paintings are created and produced by Phil Stephenson, a qualified psychologist and retired human resources practitioner.

Phil, who has spent 30 years living in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, is a self-taught artist, and accomplished fine art photographer.  He is a trained picture framer, a member of both the Fine Art Trade Guild and the Society for All Artists, and has recently completed a Diploma in Art and Design.
